Since 2012
"Mercy Cops" is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-religious, charitable trust formed on 15th August 2012 at Poothole, Thrissur district, Kerala and registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (Reg. No.325/IV/2014). It was set up in order to tackle the problems of poverty in Kerala. From its humble origin as a unity of 4 contributors focused to help the people suffering from serious illnesses, it has grown rapidly, and now its projects cover a wide range of activities throughout Kerala. The Trust is committed to the welfare of people from the most underprivileged strata of society without distinction of caste, color, religion, language, territory, ethinicity, politics etc. It focused on helping the deserving people to bring them to the mainstream of society.
As a part of MCSEP, an awareness programme has been done at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Valancherry on 06-07-2019 at 10 am. The programme was inaugurated by Sri. Pramod, Circle Inspector of Police, Cherpulassery. The awareness class has led by Dr. Bushra, Project Medical Officer, Govt. Ayurveda Research Institute for Mental Disease, Kottakkal. More than 150 parents were attended the function.

As a part of MCSEP, awareness programme has been conducted at Buds School, Anappara, Thiruvilwamala with a special emphasis on the need of conservation of our biodiveristy for future and the importance of medicinal plants in daily life on 25-08-2019 at 10 am. The programme was condcuted with an collaboration of Navayuga Yuvajana Sangadana, Thiruvilwamala. The programme has been inaugurated by Sri. KS Sudharsan, Superindendant of Police, Crime Branch, Thrissur. The lead lectures were taken by Dr. KM Prabhukumar, Senior Scientist, Kottakkal and Dr. Aparna S. Nair, Medical Officer, Thavalam. Many eminet personalities were attended the prgramme and seedlings of 1050 plants (including medicinal, edible and fruit plants) were distributed iamong publics. More than 150 people were attended the function.
